Every so often my regular day job offers me the opportunity to design something I think is kind of a big deal. This week I got to do a design for the Boston Red Sox promoting David Ortiz. Even though I am a Yankee fan, I still gave it my best effort.

At the Maple Festival this weekend a tree will be planted in memory of Wendy Thibault. I met Wendy when I was attending the McGraw United Methodist church. She was a wonderful person and I am proud and honored that I had the opportunity to have known her.
This weekend I will be in Marathon New York for the Central New York Maplefest. If you've never been to this event I highly recommend gather up the whole fam damily and head on in to the sleepy little village of Marathon. Take Rt. 81 to exit 9. This is a fabulous event for the whole family. There are tons and tons of things to see and do. The Maple Fest home page has more info.
